Doodled this up after pumping out many refs for art I owe two friends.
Planning on using this to practice in OC now that I can. I'm going to be coloring the hair the way mine is now. Normal brown/blonde roots, bleached to the tips, making it a very light blonde with the slightest hint of red when wet. My bangs are frosted teal and the rest is frosted a nice blue. It makes sort of a cool antenae effect when I get it to settle right.
Kind of surprised myself with the eye since this was just another one of those pictures that drew itself with my hand along for the ride.

As for why this happened, it just sort of started when I thought about all that's happened to me in the last year. Starting out back into the arts, getting out of the Air Force and away from a place that's left a dark mark on me, getting together with someone I've thought about for almost six years since the last time I saw them, continuing to deal with idiots that hassle me in my endevors simply to try and make themselves feel important, lack of a job and loss of the last of my saving looming, hurting my back and dealing with physical therapy. There's been a lot, and it's sort of nice to sit and try to finally let it all sort of sink in, the good and bad. There's so much more, but I think all the stuff I've already mentioned sort of falls into the internet drama of a stranger catergory, so I'll hush up now.

Glad I got my #4 pencils back. I inked with tech pens and my brush pen. Had to clean up and accident where one of the pens slipped from my hand when it cramped and skittered across the page. Turned out pretty good otherwise.
