Most of them.
This is my custom curiosity cabinet, you won't find any other out there like it. This was originally my great grandfather's (on mom's side) gun cabinet that he built with his own two hands, out of their old kitchen table. Yes, he recycled the wood from his kitchen table. And the only saw he had was a simple hand saw. My Great Grandaddy was a very talented man.
My father and I made it a little project together to polish it up and give it a new life, new purpose. So we cleaned it, installed some brackets for shelves, and cut acrylic for my shelving. I love how it looks, it looks so clean and light shines through. Oh, and we wired the lighting ourselves, too. (My daddy is very handy and talented, too ^^)
It was a little difficult to do, the door is a little bit of a tight fit, but it suits my needs just fine. I still have my python skull on it's way, it will be on the same shelf as my crocodilians.
Yes, they are all real. No, they weren't killed for me nor for their skulls. If you don't like it, don't look at it. Please keep your hateful comments to yourselves. I treat all my animals, alive or dead, with the utmost respect.

I know a lot of furs get iffy about keeping any sort of animal "trophies" around, as if your mounting their fursona over your fireplace, I honestly think things like this help provide a no longer living creature with a great amount of respect rather than sitting out in the desert or being used as a paper weight. Your Great Grandfather had a remarkable talent, I'd die for something like that to display my guns in something that nice. Nice collection.
People in general are very touchy with taxidermy (I'll admit, I used to be EXTREMELY against it) But it really is respectful to the animal as long as its treated carefully and displayed in such ways. Its great for educational purposes, very benificial to artists for references. I'm against hunting just for the sake of killing something. Most, if not all, of what I have, can be eaten. And most have been, I'm sure. (Yes, even hornbill. They eat them in Africa)
Thank you, I'm very fond of my cabinet.

Someone gifted me a the skin from a Wolf's head, I didn't have a collection or case, so I decided to sew him onto the top of a hoodie to use him as sort of a mask, only respectful thing I could think to do with the big guy. To this day I still get a lot of shit for it. But, it's better than letting him just sit in the dark of a drawer and not get any attention.
Wows! I never thought it would be a white tail (never seen a pronghorn in real life, I just assumed they were a tad bigger than a chamois, so thats explaining the Roe comment haha!)
Wow. I've always wanted whitetail antlers :D I'm hopefully getting a few dropped ones.
Fantastic. I hope my collection will be as cool as yours one day! Although it's hard to get anything interesting in the UK (and europe really, compared to america/africa)

LOL It'll be okay xD And don't feel bad, you guys over in the UK have a -lot- that us Americans wish we could have for our collections. You guys can get a lot of birds that legally we can't have. Also, our country has a marine animal law that prevents a great deal of species even being touched by us (Like...you guys could have a california sea lion legally. They are EVERY WHERE here and in no means endangered. But we can't even touch 'em)
I can't verify that law as I've never heard that one. But we do have some strange ones. Like...we have a crow season. Its legal to hunt them during that season. But its not legal to sell, buy, or trade crow parts. You have to gift them. Its a dream of mine to have a crow skull.
We've a few other species coming into the gallery soon as they are undergoing cleaning. Its a very expensive hobby unfortunately, so my collection isn't nearly as large as I would like it to be lol. There are a few species I may never get to own due to costs. (Lion and hyena namely)
