I was born with a degenerative bone deformation in my knees called "knock knees" that caused my knees to be crooked and bend sideways and become mangled at night. over the years I slowly got worse and worse until I could barely walk and would have to be picked up when I sat down. If I wanted to go up the stairs without someone carying me I had to crawl on all fours so I had to have my legs cut open, cadaver bone inserted to straighten them, and then titanium plates screwed in over them.
