Let's start the story
Life of Rax
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR1LKNsYxX8)
In the far east, there was a small village building in the mountains called “Moon Village.” Although it looked less convenient and modern than other cities in the area, the antique buildings, public devices, and other attractions could bring the attention to many wanderers and tourists. Most of all, each villager was energetic and optimistic and kept the small town lively and entertaining to visit.
There was a special skill in Moon Village - Kung Fu. You could learn different multitude of Kung Fu specialties from each dojo. Each dojo had its featured dojo where a person who wanted to learn the fighting style could learn in solitude and peace.
Underax, a muscular and athletically built anthro green dragon, was an apprentice in one out of the many dojos called “Spirit”. As the name said, the dojo’s feature was not for talented physical skill, but for your heart. The purpose of Kung Fu taught in this dojo was not for knocking down someone, but for protecting who you wanted to protect.
Underax had been learned it’s ways for 10 years, and he started it when he was 15. His old master, Gene, who was a 60 years old anthro wolf, asked Underax if he would like to inherit the dojo in the future. But Underax always rejected it modestly, and said that still many people were better and more qualified than him.
When it came to Underax’s past, he didn’t remember it either. However, he still knew that he wasn’t born in Moon Village. He was sent to the small village by coincidence, and found by Gene on a rainy day. Gene took care of him patiently and carefully, as if he was his own son. Underax really appreciated his master, and swore he would repay the caring wolf in the future
He found a way he could repay his master back tenfold.
One of the most famous events in Moon Village was coming up. One that required immense skill and concentration to even get into. The event was called the Annual Kung Fu Contest.
Every Kung Fu aficionado would be invited to attend this. In past years, Underax had hoped that he could join in the competition as the representation of Spirit, but Gene didn’t always agree. He told Underax that in Spirit, some people were more professional and had more experience on it, and moreover, Underax ’s skill didn’t reach his standard. Actually in Gene’s mind, he was just worried about Underax. The Annual Kung Fu Contest was not always the most forgiving when it came to physical injury.
The Annual Kung Fu Contest was upcoming this year. Unfortunately in the months leading up to the contest, something happened in Spirit. The one who always represented Spirit to attend the contest sprained his leg, and couldn’t move normally. After Underax knew it, he seized this chance, begging Gene to let him attend this contest.
“I beg you, master. Let me go to compete this time. I wanna know how my ability is so far. Please!” Underax said, kneeling with one of his legs and lowering his head.
“Well…, all right. If I reject your request, you will always complain about it, just like a kid. This time, I promise you.” Gene said with a grin upon his face. “Yeah!” Underax said, excited that his master finally let him compete.
“But remember, no matter what you get, win or lose, the Spirit is the most important. Do your best on each match, Rax. Mmm…… but don’t get injured in contest, okay?” Gene glanced at Underax’s face softly with kindness.
“I won’t disappoint you, master!”
Before the contest, the green dragon trained himself. Contrary to other people’s training, he preferred exercising his upper body with push-ups, pull-ups, and weight lifting. Actually, he saw strength as the most important part of Kung Fu, hoping he could get more muscle so that he can cause a large amount of damage early in the match.
“Rax, you can’t always focus on your strength, or you might be slower when you move and charge.” Gene said as he was watched Underax’s training one day, shaking his head.
“I know, master. But have you seen the muscles on Brian’s body? He is massive, but his movement doesn’t get slower. I believe what I’m doing now is right.”
Brian is an anthro bear, who is an apprentice in the most famous dojo. Underax really admired and respected Brian, hoping he could be as well as the bear some day.
“Huh… I can’t change your mind, Rax. It is principal that you have to develop all aspects of Kung Fu so that you can work in full power on the contest. It is my only advice for you, and it’s up to you if you want to hear it. After all, you’ve grown up. You are already 25 and not a kid anymore. And I…… look old and clumsy already……” Gene sighed and sat down. Underax stopped his training, walked to Gene, and said. “Master……, I’m sorry. I understand what I’m doing now, but I will remember your suggestion and work on it.”
On the day of the contest, the outdoor battle arena in the village was crowded with lots of villagers and visitors far from the mountains. Of course, the Annual Kung Fu Contest was not just for fighters. There were some performers and dancers as well. Thus, it would attract a large amount of people to come to the arena each year.

After a while, it was Underax’s turn to fight. He walked to the stage, wondering who his first opponent was. Then, a big guy came to him. He had two small round ears, and covered with dark brown fur. Underax came closer to see him, and got a big surprise.
That man was Brian.
“Well, well. I can’t believe my first opponent is a new one, heheh.”
Brian crossed his arms and said teasingly. “Oh, I know you. You are that poor green dragon abandoned, alone, and SCARED aren’t you?” After hearing that, Underax’s face turned red hot. He couldn’t help but rush to the provoking bear and wanted to teach him a lesson, but his own judgment stopped him.
“Hold on! The match hasn’t started. Brian, please control what you say.” The judge said as he walked to the center of the stage, shouting to the two fighters.
“Okay, please come here you two, and bow to each other face to face.” Underax controlled his bad mood, walking to the center and facing Brian. Brian was really tall and powerful. Underax had to lift his head so that he could see Brian’s face directly.
“Nice. Now, both bow.” Both were bowing, but Brian whispered to Underax.
“Sorry, I just said something rude before, you poor orphan…… heheh.” After hearing the provoking words again, Underax’s madness exploded. He couldn’t control himself but ran into Brian and pinned him down. All of people here exclaimed in surprise. The judgment warned them seriously, but Underax and Brian ignored him, broiling fiercely on the ground. After several rolling around and scuffling, Underax was pinned down by Brian in the end.
The green dragon struggled, but failed in reversing his situation because of the leverage Brian had on him.
“Damn it! You broke the rule! It’s forbidden to say something that could start a fight before the match started!”
“Did I? I just said the truth.” Brian said with a smirk.
“F**k you!” The dragon roared as he spat toward Brian’s face.
To Underax’s surprise, Brian licked his drool and swallowed it.
“Heheh,I haven’t tried dragon’s drool so far, especially from a male. Heheh.” Brian whispered into Underax’s ear.
“You’re such a bitch…”
“You shouldn’t be the one to tell me that. I already know what kind of man you like as well.”
Underax blushed red hot at the comment.
“You… you shut up!”
“Heheh, don’t be shy. Let’s do more……” Brian said in a hushed tone of voice.
Interrupted by the judge, Brian was pulled aside.
“STOP! ENOUGH! I claim you two lose your qualification to the next match. Leave and maybe I won’t disqualify both of you!”
Brian gave a grin to the green dragon, and then walked away. Underax left the stage disappointed at his performance. He was angry at Brian for provoking him and at himself for falling for the bears tricks.
“What the hell were you doing!? Rax! Did you completely forget what I said?
Do you know what you did this morning?” In Spirit house, Gene were condemning Underax in front of other people.
“I… I’m so sorry, master.
I… Brian provoked first, so I……” The embarrassing dragon stuttered.
“Excuses! No matter what he did it or not, all you need to do was be calm and then take actions carefully. You got trapped when you couldn’t control yourself. Do you understand?” “……” Underax didn’t say anything.
“Huh, what a shameful thing we got. You make me pretty disappointed, Rax. Learn this lesson, and don’t do it again. Understand!?”
"Yes… master……”

At night in silver moonlight, Underax was sitting on a stone outside the dojo house alone, sighing in an upset mood. He pondered what happened earlier and heard a rustling from a nearby bush.
"Huh…… Who…?” Underax stood up right away, facing where the sound came from. As the moonlight shone there, he could see the man clearly.
It was Brian.
“You…why are you here? Get out! I don’t wanna have a fight with you now and see you anymore!” Underax said as he sat back down with his arms crossed. He wanted nothing to do with Brian.
“Come on. Don’t be so rude to me. I just wanna say sorry to you.”
“Say sorry? That’s funny. I don’t believe anything you say at all. Get out!” The green dragon turned around and planned to leave him there all alone, but Brian grabbed his arm and pulled Underax to let the dragon face him.
“What…… What are you doing?” Underax said questioningly.
"Don’t be nervous. I just wanna show my apology to you.”
Underax blushed as Brian’s huge arms wrapped him. His embrace was warm and sudden, but still felt so wonderful to Underax.
“What…… what do you mean?” The dragon said in a curious voice.
“Like this…” Brian kissed Underax in one quick movement.
At first, Underax was surprised at what Brian was doing, and wanted to resist. After a while, he found himself enjoying the sensation more and more. A comfortable, soft sense was touching his whole body. Afterward, Underax actively kissed Brian. His mind told him to embrace Brian and so did his body.
Under the brightly shining moon, a dragon and a bear were kissing passionately. Some minutes passed. They broke the kiss and looked at each other. “So, do you forgive me?” “You……” Underax was almost ready to faint, and couldn’t think everything by such sudden a kiss.
“No words to say? So how about now…… hehehe.” Brian smirked evilly. One of his hands was slipping down Underax’s abdomen slowly.
“Ah……”
Underax’s heart throbbed quickly, watching as Brian’s hand was going slowly down to his crotch.
“What...What are you two…” Someone said. The green dragon pushed Brian right away, seeing where the sound of a voice came from. That was his master, Gene, looking at them with his mouth opened
“Ma… Master. I…… please let me explain.”
“No……You don’t need to explain anything. Please…… leave here right now.”
“Master……It’s a misunderstanding. It isn’t what you thought about…… I……”
“You! Get out! I don’t want to see you anymore. We don’t need someone like you! Get out!” The old wolf pointed aside.
“Like me? I’m still myself, master. Did I do something wrong?”
“Yeah! You are still Rax! But we don’t need you anymore! GET OUT!”
The green dragon stepped back in surprise. “I…… Am I wrong!? Why!? Why should I leave because of this? Tell me why? Master!”
“Go! Get out of my sight in 3 seconds.”
Underax stood in shock. He couldn’t believe what he had done before broke this relationship between his master and him. “Damn! All right! I quit! And I will never come back!”
Underax flapped his wings strongly and flied into the dark sky. With tears dropping from his eyes, and emerald green wings flapping continuously, Underax was in chaos. He had no idea where he could go. All he wanted to do was leave Moon Village, leave and travel a long distance away.
Day after day, Underax flied, and hunted for food in the morning. At night, he slept alone, with his heart covered with sadness.
After two weeks, Underax came into a small city. Compared to Moon Village, the atmosphere was very modern. So many vehicles passed on the road, and lots of people walked fast to do what they were busy with next. Seeing such view, the dragon couldn’t help but think of the Moon Village, and sighed sorrowfully.
Because of his great physique, he found a job that required strength. Then he saved some money, renting a small room, and living alone. He worked during the day, rested during the night. He secluded himself, not having any contact with anyone.
On one weekend morning, Underax received a package in his mailbox. He wondered who sent this package to him. He opened it carefully to avoid spoiling the stuffs inside. There was a letter and a small box inside. He picked up the letter, and saw the back side of it. It said:
From Rubrum Brethren.
Underax grinned. He knew a different life was going to start at that moment.
