Anywho, this part of a pet project I've taken up on myself. I've recently discovered a program called "danmakufu." It essentially lets your code and write your very own SHMUP game. I'm trying to learn my way around it - which is going to take some time - but once I do, I'd like to throw my characters into their very own game. This isn't anything major, and it'll probably only be released to a few friends, but the thought of this game actually existing is pretty exciting.
The title is tentative, but it's also the game which I'll be taking a lot of inspiration from. "Shuuso Gyouko" was an older SHMUP from the Seihou series. In this drawing, Michelle is wearing the main protagonist's outfit. The soundtrack will also be heavily based/adapted from Shuuso Gyouko's soundtrack.
Anywho, I may or may not post updates as the project progresses. Until then, enjoy this lovely piece of faux album artwork!
