Slowly drifting to sleep, the young serperior girl snuggled into the blankets of the bed, her own blanket covering her body. Unknown to her, the blankets were alive, the creature that was made of them slowly pulling her into itself. The blanket beast was curious of what she was, but figured she could do with a good nights sleep.
Ever-so-carefully, it slid the child past its plush lips, the circular green pillow that served as its head looking at the slumbering child. When she was fully inside, it smiled a bit, slowly closing its mouth as the warmth on the inside comforted the child, lulling her into a deeper sleep. For the night, the blanket beast resting with a filled belly, content that it will have helped another child sleep easily.
