Ok, so i was on gaia and saw link below and inspired the creation of macin. In a nutshell, he was raised in a small town of Healy, Alaska. He has learned how to use water as a weapon (much like waterbending). He is also a master alchemist and can make anything out of nothing. He is normally quiet, but is very sensitive. After years of neglect at home he stole his father's boat and supplies and headed for his homeland, Russia. he met the princess while fighting off a monster and they have been close friends since. He learned many tricks from her, including waterwalking, bare handed fishing, and diving without a suit. There adventuring lead them to the island of Yishu, where they now reside. Macin, however, has been trying to become more then friends since they settled down.
