Alright. Here's the final version of the piece I've been working on for a while now. It's my Argonian character I play as in Skyrim. Aside from a couple issues I had with the perspective on the sword and the shield, I think this could be one of my better drawings yet. I really enjoy the way it came out, and I hope you all do too. Of course, I'm still down for any constructive criticism any of you can offer.
Here's a bit about J'Ran Dak, my Skyrim character: He's dragonborn, but he's not THE Dragonborn. He showed up in Whiterun a few days after the dragon attack, and missed his chance to find his calling as the biggest, baddest sonofabitch in Skyrim; some hotshot Nord called Rolund saved the day instead. So, instead, Dak has busied himself in other pursuits, the most notable of which was his enlisting with The Companions.
Dak resides in Jorrvaskr with the rest of The Companions, and he takes on whatever mercenary jobs come his way, whether through his own findings, or those assigned to him by the members of The Circle. Occasionally, Dak has been known to disappear without word from Whiterun, only to return weeks later unwilling to explain his absence. He's been sighted down near Riften once or twice, though what his interest is down there is unknown to his compatriots. There are rumors that he's been working as an undercover agent for The Dawnguard, but he refuses to acknowledge them.

Cool... Even if your not 'The' Dragonborn... Your still gunna learn your shouts right?
I love the back story you gave to this... I almost wish that you could do this in game, NOT be the dragonborn and let a character you've made before be it instead. Just to see how people would react

Yeah, I realized after I got everything all finished that I'd forgotten his tail... :/ I'd been working on it so long that I just said "fuck it we're doing it live" and called it a night. I also forgot the scabbard for his sword, and the ridge of darker scales that Argonians generally have along their biceps... Oh well. Next time. XD
That's pretty much how I'm playing the character. I escaped Helgen, Brought news to Whiterun after hiding in Riverwood with Ralof at Gerdur and Hod's house, killed a dragon (only because you pretty much have to in order to move on with the game), and then instead of going to High Hrothgar, I just hung out with The Companions for a while. I'm level 48 now and I still haven't spoken to The Greybeards. XD I do have another account where I'm playing through ever possible quest as a Nord though. He can take care of all that Dragonborn stuff while my Argonian fights off the Vampire threat!
And yeah, I still know a couple shouts as an Argonian, though since I never sought the council of The Greybeards, I only know a couple little ones I've encountered while adventuring.

I do that all the time, I honestly hate having to go talk to the graybeards... Kinda wish I could Pull a morrowind and just kill almost everyone needed for the main quest but still finish it!
I also like to play that my character in morrowind is still the one I use in skyrim :) I guess When the Dragonborn DLC comes out for PC your Argonian character could be the one that does that quest line

I've already got the Dragonborn DLC. It came out for xBox in December, and it was bleeding amazing. I don't think an Argonian would be very welcome in Solstheim though. Everyone there is Dark Elves, and everyone you talk to mentioned how much they hate the Argonians for invading Morrowind after the Red Mountain erupted...
Still though, it would be interesting to just durp around in Skyrim and then suddenly have people after you for being the Dragonborn even when you don't know it yet. XD When I played through it, it was with my Nord, and he'd already killed Alduin, so he was totally used to people being all like "check it out, it's the Dragonborn!" He just wasn't used to people trying to stab him over the fact.

lol, True.. but the dark elves started it... they're the ones who attacked first... I say they got their come up-ins after I killed the tribunal and when.. that floating city whos name escapes me right now, attacked them with zombies :D
That would be pretty awesome.. but I did the darkbrother hood quest line before the main quest... and I was pretty sadistic and evil... when people attacked me... so.. They attacked and I stoped paying attaion as to why. You don't ask to many questions as to why after the dark brotherhood quest line

Yeah, they kinda got their just desserts. At this point though, things have kinda tanked for the Dark Elves so much that you gotta feel kinda sorry for them.
I've never done the Dark Brotherhood quests, though I want to start a new account where I join them, since in my existing accounts I've always made them my bitches. I can imagine though that randomly being attacked becomes pretty common when you're an assassin of that caliber.
