Wouldn't running that continually burn up some of the components?

Not really. If you calculate the condensers and the other components right and built it in order to used it constantly, it would not be a problem...but the noise would be pretty annoying and you would need to take care of all the ozone the flashes create. But I had the coils running for about 20minutes during an experiment. They were warm, but I guess that they could take it for a much longer time too cause I have got a pretty solid cooling
