Zapp Apple, his baby sister Quick Snap, and his best friend Fire Heart, all gathered together in the fields of Sweet Apple Acres and tilt their heads towards the the silent night sky. It seemed like just yesterday they all sat in the exact same spot to watch the cerulean stallion fly high up in the sky, the wind flowing through his rainbow mane. He'd fly higher and higher till he could hardly be seen, then zoom down at top speed, performing loopty loops, twists, and daredevil dives. The young foals would oooh and ahh at the sight. A very young Zapp Apple would point his tiny hoof up at his father and squeal "He's so high up!" And at the end of every "Show" Rainbow Dash would call out "That was for you kid!" and wave his hooves at his son, smiling brightly and laughing loud. But tonight...there were no tricks, there was no laughter... just silence and stars. The tears flowed freely from the three young ponies. He was gone. Zapp glanced at his sister, then at Fire Heart,
"He's still there ya know?" a small smile came across his face and his tear filled eyes returned to the heavens above. "He's... He's just s-so high up."
