Home of the plant god and many of his humble servants. Those who enter his domain get lured into his trap. How will he judge this poor little soul? Fit to live and return to her fellow furs? Or sent to the otherworld to wander the forest as a lost spirit for all eternity?

Huh. I thought FA was over its little fit of hiding pictures from you. But I'm glad you spotted it in the end.
It really is a gorgeous picture, too, and I agree completely with everything you've said. The mood and the atmosphere of the picture are nicely mysterious and spooky, and you really have to wonder just what's in store for her and what the ghostly butterfly could be doing, or could mean. And of course the little blurb she wrote for this picture just adds so many extra layers to it, as well. Once again, Iko has really surpassed all of my expectations and handed me a picture I absolutely love.
Though obviously I hope it'll be for good otherwise I'll have to grab my Li'l Skullsplitter axe and go into that forest myself.
Aw. *Snuggles* My hero! I'm sure everything will turn out okay, though. Unless you've got to pass some sort of purity test to get out...
But speaking of Li'l Skullsplitter axes, it was actually your lovely little comic, and specifically the adventures of Megan and friends in the Doomful Forest that inspired me to get a picture like this done. I'd planned to say as much, too, until Iko added her own fantastic spin onto this. So cool points to you for such a fun and inspiring idea! Though I don't think anyone in the world could come up with spooks and monsters to match yours, either.
