The button does work, just that when you start to hover over it, it pulses like crazy till you are on top of it.

Clearly the button that plagued poor deliciously sexy Pinky from finishing the Flash test was the positive energy feedback barrier, while the error itself was the negative energy magnetic field that forcefully drew out negative energy from her mind as she continued to gain a massive headache from the pain of the extraction. After the negative energy magnetic field had store up enough of the negative energy from her mind, she was relieved and filled with enough positive energy to equal the level of the positive energy feedback barrier, thus gaining entry and access to what was past the button, which in the end was the scribble that was the conglomerate of all of the negative energy that the negative energy magnetic field extracted from her mind.
