Be lying if I said the influence is completely absent, but he doesn't bear a lot of CID personality-wise outside of a reckless streak.

Which is rather a good thing IMO, as Cid in FFVII was rather a bastard, particularly to Shera.

It is really a treat to see human beans rendered as individuals rather than as just cookie cutter figures lacking any real individuality. These three are interesting characters just on their appearances.

I certainly do hope, Captain, that you will receive other commissions from other furs so that you will do more of these character displays.

Luzza, the magic user,
Maeja, the Dancer/Monk Hybrid,
Damek, a berserker brawler.

A dancing monk... think of all the lulz that could ensue!

...The two guys in this image kind of give me a '90s'-ish impression, what with the guy on the left wearing the goggles on his head, the guy in the middle having the one shoulder pad and scar on his face, and the fairly dark, gritty look that both of them seem to be giving off.

Oh god, the guy in the middle looks a lot like my own personal character would in a modern setting... if he shaved his beard down to a goatee and used a sword rather than a assault rifle.

nice! you have the melee, polearm, and long-range fighter set! i've been playing with a modern hero set myself. short-range being a person trained in aikido, with a pair of leather gloves rigged to a stun gun for close-ranged attacks. the mid-range fighter, is trained in parkour, better at chase than hand-to-hand fighting, but has a pole with a wide hook at the end primarily for climbing higher walls, but can be used in combat like a staff. finally, the long-range fighter, sprta like green arrow, but with a slingshot.
