intaglio print [wip]
So in print making we're doing something known as an "Intaglio print".
If you're unfamiliar with this print method it involves the surface that's going to be replicated to be etched in and the ink flows into the surfaces that are pressed in.
This is the opposite of:

That I did which is relief print. Meaning, the ink catches on the surface petruding out.
My teacher's assignment involved a plastic-like 8 1/2" x 11" board and we had to go in deep with ball point pen. The assignment was basically to make a print but the content involved whatever you wanted printed, (as long as the image isn't copyrighted).
I did an ocelot of course. However, I'm not sure what to put on the background. I wanted to make objects out there that represented the ocelot as my spirit animal or totem animal, (I'm really into that sort of ordeal anyway). Though I'm not entirely sure if I'm really going to do it.
I'll probably post the end result when we get to printing. uwu
