Right...
Listen, I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but I've left this slide for far too long.
I do realise you like plus-sized gals and all, but frankly, I've been finding your comments involving such subjects to be degrading as well as offensive to me. I never mentioned it before because I tried to be a nice person about it and I let it slide. The more comments I read from you in which you have posted to my art or photos regarding this has made me feel as if you view me or HollyAnn or any other plus-sized character you've commented on, as an object. Not a person, not a character, but an object.
I DO NOT want to be viewed that way. And I DO NOT want my artwork to be viewed that way either. And I don't really appreciate such terms being presented to me or pushed into my face.
I would like to please ask if you could refrain from making such comments in the future: on my galleries, journals, or whatever and if you continue, I will block you, as I will not put up with these things anymore.

We were in Atenveldt (Phoenix, AZ area) when we were still pretty active. We were with house Inverted for most of that time and we've done Estrella War 3 or 4 times since we met. We've moved out of state though and haven't really been able to get in touch with anyone who does SCA out here yet.
There's two things :)
First, you can visit SCA Demo: http://www.scademo.com Just to read up a little more about the SCA, it's full of info, as well as many different things you can get involved in once you've joined ;)
Second, is to visit the actual SCA webpage: http://www.sca.org From there, you read up about it in more depth. There's a search option of what SCA groups are in your local area: http://www.sca.org/geography/findsca.html If you don't know what Kingdom you would be in, you can just do a search depending on what country/state/province you're in.
Most local groups have their own webpages and especially their own mailing list, so once you've found out what group you belong to, it's just a matter of introducing yourself on the mailing list, getting to know the group, creating your persona, and just having fun with it :)
