So this is something different: awhile back I was also commissioned by a friend to do a series of illustrations for a slideshow presentation. It had me doing a number of things I don't normally do at all, and challenged me to figure out how to draw inanimate objects.

The idea for the slideshow basically revolved around saving money by implementing a new cutting edge energy-saving system.

Okay, this is actually something I'm REALLY proud of, haha. As someone who doesn't regularly draw backgrounds, furniture, inanimate objects or fixtures basically EVER, I think I did a pretty awesome job here of drawing a simple room and figure and keeping it looking interesting. I particularly like the light effect here (thanks photoshop render lighting effects).

I must have made like... about a grand total of 40 different edits, these being my faves of the bunch. Light room dark room, figure no figure, cold hot normal... transparent background, solid background, PNG and Gif versions. It was a big job but I'm happy with the work I did here.
