I woke up in a sealed chamber, I had an oxygen mask on; my clothes were gone, but I feel somehing on me... I looked at my hand, pitch black fur covered it; I saw fur all over my body. I banged on the sealed door, muffled yells escaping my mouth. Banging the glass was useless, I quieted down and looked at myself in the glass...

What am I? I had long ears and a muzzle; I had a long cat tail, my pupils were thin, and my hands were more like paws. With rage, I banged on the glass again, still to no effect. I clenched my fists, accidentally causing claws to slide out. I looked at my new weapons, there were pretty sharp. I scratched the glass, the claws didn't even wear down, but the glass did.

I scratched repeatedly, it hurt my ears though; It was like a scratching a chalkboark with a fork. I pushed the glass, it was weak enough to break now. I smash it open and fall on my hands and knees.

The man in the room was looking at me, too scared to even move. I got up and looked at him, he was defenseless, an easy target for revenge... But... I'm not normally a revenge type. I growled at him, "What did you do to me?" He shivered in fear, "W-We were hired to m-make you a w-weapon... W-We're so sorry..." I looked at him, he was telling the truth. "All right, but you need to tell me all that you did." He nodded quickly, "W-We made you into a feline... Sensitive ears, the claws, nightvision, stamina, stealth and speed. You were going to be wiped clean of memory, but then you woke up." I looked at him sternly, he was about to piss himself, "Give me your key card." He gave it to me without question.

I opened the door and closed it, there was a hallway full of doors. I crouched down and peeked through the first left door; Inside was a group of scientists taking notes on an odd thing in another tube. I continued through the hall, I heard someone talking in one of the rooms. I peaked through it, the security room, on video was me escaping.

The guard got up and I ducked quickly; he opened the door, I grabbed him and held my hand over his mouth. I dragged him in where I taped his mouth and tied him to the chair. Muffled noise were the only sounds he could make. I went to the cameras and turned them off. I noticed a power shutdown button, I pressed it, causing the section's power to go out.

I left the room, everything was green. I exited the hallway, the next room was void of any guards, however, it was a dead end... I saw that a vent that I could crawl through though, I used my claws to unscrew it and crawled in.

I crawled through the ventilation shaft, making almost no noise. I looked for an exit somewhere in this place; I passed up some stairs, I'm on the fifth floor basement.

I crawled around more before ending up lost, I ended up on the 1st floor basement; As I got out of the vent, the backup power came on. I sneaked my way over to a stack of kennels, inside were cats, big and small. One of them... spoke to me... "Help me... I don't like it here..." All the other cats started yelling, "Hey! What about me?!" "I need out!" "I'm covered in my own yuck..." Even a panther was caged up, "Brother, set us free and we shall repay you." I picked every lock, the panther nodded, "Thank you brother, we will look out for you." I nodded to the panther and headed to the main floor.

There was the exit, I can see it; I ran over to it, only to have a floodlight shine over me. "Test Subject 3-9, there is no escape." Was this it, is this how it ends? No happy ending?

To my suprise, a loud growl was heard along with high amounts of hissing. The panther pounced an unsuspecting guard, the cats mainly jumped and scratched at their faces. The panther motioned for me to go, I nod and open the door... Fresh air never felt so good. The panther joined me, "You know that won't be the end of them, it's just begun..." With that he went on his own way.

I know what he means, that was too easy, why though? Another thought comes to mind, how will people react? I ran to where I felt like I needed to be, my hometown...
