Well ... This is finally a prototype of Bowser, himself.
He's upright for a reason. That spiked shield, used to be on his back. Yep that was bowser's shell until one fateful day, Mario put a hole into a part of the back of his shell. As you know with turtles, this is a big deal which required a lot of surgery involving removing the shell and infusing a lot of his back to make it look less ... repulsive. That has just riled up the Koopa King's thirst for vengeance against Mario.
What he is now is kind of a 20 foot tall gladiator who can shoot fireballs from his mouth and like mario (thanks to Ludwig's teachings)

Wow, now that would be a story. Not only has MArio smashed, bashed, killed, grilled, beat, and trappled Bowser, his kids, Bowser Jr, and every plot, but now has permently disfigured the proud Koopa King. The way most Villians, and Boswer goes, that would be the worst thing to do. Though he dose looks sexy like that, maybe Bowser will be happier, cause people can hug him, and not get cut ^^
Truely nice concept, and art, you really have a mastery with crosshaching, and the Koopas.

I wouldn't say that he would look anywhere near sexy... and he'll probably tear your head off if you try to hug him.
To tell the truth, I had messed up a lot with the waist, a lot of the hatching is off and I can't hold a candle to some of these other folks whenever they decide to draw a koopa.
