I offer customers the chance to purchase six hours of my time, which is a way to jump ahead of the commission queue. During these sessions I draw whatever the commissioner can come up with in the allotted time. In this case it was for Merri and JR.

We started with JR's first persona picture which was him as a Newfoundland dog with orange markings. He wanted to be holding his camera and suggested the lake backdrop. (Which is much nicer than my suggestion of a cloud of amoebas)
