It can be a dog, cat, lizard, chinchilla, hamster- any pet you can provide photos of! These little sculptures fit in the palm of your hand.
Here's how it works: When you place your order, I will e-mail you a questionnaire of options for your sculpture including the pose and type of nose (wool or sculpey) that you'd like. I'll ask you to provide clear pictures of the pet from both sides, front and rear if possible.
When you get back to me, I'll get to work! Please allow a week for me to create your sculpture. Each one is detailed and time consuming. Using a barbed needle, I will felt soft wool, alpaca, and/or or other quality natural fibers onto a wire frame.
I can also include some of your own animal's clean hair upon request. This will work with many longer-haired breeds of furry friends. If you can take a tuft of your animal's shedded hair between the palms of your hands and roll it around and it tangles up, chances are good I can felt with it!
Once the sculpture is nearing completion I will send you photos of it for you to request final tweaks.
