A tantilizingly tasty twist to a lovely lasagne from the kitchens of
sonaasoka
:3 new name for my chicken taco cassaroll ..
used double ingredients
6 chicken breasts
1 bag of preshreaded texmex cheese
1 block of monetary jack cheese
half of red/ green/ yellow peppers
half a red onion
1 pack of chicken Fajita taco mix
1 bag of restaurant style tostitos chips
preporation:
dice the onion
dice peppers
chop chicken into stir fried strips and cook in a sauce pan till white
add the peppers onion and fajita mix into the pan with the chicken and add a half cup of water.
cook for 5-10 mins and med heat till the sauce is nice and and thick.
now for the hard part layering it into a casserole dish.
you can do it anyway you want but i will put in my layering
on the bottom of the pan try to cover as much of it with the chips then a layer of Havarti cheese, then add some of the chicken to the next layer then some tex mex cheese.
then crunch up chips and sprinkle the crumbs over the chicken till you get a nice layer then add the some cheese and the rest of the chicken. then layer with more cheese and then a final layer of whole chips then the top layer of cheese.
