Oh I understand its a fetish. It's just one I don't understand xD I know that pregnancy is a fetish (another one I don't get, but can TRY to relate it to vore, I guess, but I don't know if that's where the similarities lie) Cuz stomach acid, digestion periods, and inevitably everything else that follows is part of the procedure of eating. I just see same characters getting eaten over and over. Are they regurgitated? Cuz that's no fun. Unfortunately neither is exploding, that just ends badly for everyone involved, but I can see that your character is in tact every time so I know he's not exploding.
