Wow...so this is what Beval would look like if he had more traditional bat wings and a differently shaped tail...very nice! :) I like how you did the soft brushed shading and highlighting of the character overall, particularly for his wings and legs. The POV of the character from above must have been a challenge indeed from making sure that the anatomy/structure of his wings and the rest of his body looked correct from that angle, given the references I provided.
Great job overall on this full-colored pic, Fern! ^^ The night sky you've painted in the background does a neat job of setting the atmosphere/theme...funny thing though, it reminded me of "Fly Me to the Moon", a song from the ending credits of a classic anime - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qW1PBoLCz3g . Pretty relaxing song, in my opinion.

I'm glad yo like it! If I had a sound card I'd listen to the song, but I don't so I can't. :P What anime is it from? I couldn't get the arms to look right with regular hands, so I did the extended finger wings of a bat for him. I'm pleased with the way it turned out! You always gove such good critiques! Thank you!
