Way into some wicked wings from the kitchens of
culinaryfox
---Red's hot wings recipe---
For the breading:
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp cayenne powder
Pepper to taste
For the sauce:
1 cup your favorite hot sauce
1 cup butter
Toss 30 wings (more or less) in the breading until thoroughly coated. Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Meanwhile melt the butter in a small pot with the hot sauce. (If you want the sauce to cling to the chicken better let it cool sligthly or use some of the butter to make a roux)
Preheat oven to 400F (200C)
Drench the wings one at a time in the sauce and place onto a baking sheet lined with foil and greased.
Bake the wings for 20min then flip and continue to bake for another 25min.
Then dig in ^^
