Volcanic Mirromy Features:
-No real separation between inner and outer skin. Outer skin is plated, inner skin has fine scales.
-Only Mirromy species with scales, the genetic link between Mirromy and Shlealin.
-Antenna are long and shelled
-Has scaley eyelashes on upper lids.
-Highly resistant to overly hot water. Though cannot stand boiling water for long.
-Primarily eats minerals that come to the surface from volcanic zones or plants in that area. Hunting is uncommon.
-Has full paw pads on feet AND toes, along with claws to better traverse the rocky surface of volcanic islands.
-Tail tendrils typically pull in and are tucked under scaley top part of tail to protect the least scaled aspects of their skin. Tail is often curled into a protective spiral when not swimming.
-The most aggressive of Mirromy, and the only species to commonly be loners or in small groups. Not warlike, just often territorial and show overt displays of dominance over a food source. (since volcanic food is more rare than animals in those areas)
-Teeth are often black and reinforced with carbon. Teeth are also a combination of molars and canines.
-skin is not nearly as stretchy as other Mirromy, it can stretch to only less than half if it's size. Clean water is stored in tail.
-Still has a parietal eye gem, however it is hidden behind the center-most forehead scale (which is mostly clear). It typically blends in with the rest of the scales. Though it still can be the same color as the eyes if the scale is clear enough.
notes:
-Shlealin and Mirromy share a common ancestor. The traits associated with a Volcanic Mirromy are typically associated with Mirromy aggressive nature and shared traits with Shlealin. Though they are primarily vegetarians and omnivores, they are more territorial of food as their food doesn't move, they have to protect the zone with it's more limited supply.

It is red, cute and lives in volcanic areas... I can see Dulcine being quite interested in a specimen (with her studying flame based magic) such as this Mirromy, I might have to poke you about if they can be featured together in an image. ^^
This one ties closely with the cave Mirromy for my most favorite.

We already have arctic type, I call them polar type http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9687026/
Yeah sure! https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....cano_lines.png
Just make sure to credit the Mirromy account or Iggi with the lines if you repost it. :3
Also leave the signature, but you can move it or shrink it/change the color if need be.
