No, the docking have more ports, due for the oldness from my computer, have these most wanted paralell and serial ports for electronic programmers, and more USB´s and a rj 45 and another rj 11 ports, the computer have a longer battery already with a 9 cell battery with more about of 7 hours surfing.

get Gnu/Linux. It's free as in freedom, more flexible and customizable, more compatible with sources from other operating systems thanks to its POSIX compliance. more light weight. can look either new and shiny or retro. I can go on and on. when picking a Gnu/Linux distro, don't go with Ubuntu. go with something like Linux Mint or Fedora. Ubuntu is probably one of the worst distros out there
