Originally it was some strange pills that changed Alicia, wasn't it? Couldn't you just say that they are wearing off a bit? Or you could just say that they're a seasonal thing, or just retcon it! The setting is much less bizarre than the original, so maybe they just don't have horns in this continuity. No big issue. We just want to see our favorite dragongirls being sweet/sour and adorable/obnoxious.

Horns. Horns are incredibly awkward and often get in the way. However, they are also adorable. I, for one, miss their horns. Alas, alack, the day.

Might give 'em smaller, more convenient horns or somethin'- Since I have a goat character who might make an eventual appearance who needs her horns :p ...but basically, it can't be anything that'd get in the way of any kind of practical, real posturing or such-and-such
