You guys already knew I can't make titles x]
So THIS. I learned a few lessons with this one:
1. THUMBNAILS. Make sure you have a plan for what you are going to do with an image, or else you'll end up working on it for a long time and it not go anywhere.
2. LIGHTING. It's okay not not have everything visible and lit. Use lighting as a focal point.
3. DETAILS. Quit focusing on tiny details! This probably sounds strange, but it's probably the main reason why I kept getting stuck. Lay out the entire piece with the lighting BEFORE adding tiny details, if at all!
A huge thanks to artmagix and also to tienchiart on DA for helping me out with critiques on this. It also made me realize that I needed to finish up this piece, so I could just start a new one lol.

There's something off about the hips and the length of the legs on the side facing away from the viewer. The wings also lack anatomy. Mostly things that are the result from not thumbnailing in the beginning. That said, it's really not that big a deal, I notice only because I've been studying it so much, the flow of the pose is organic and with the lighting it doesn't detract from the impact of the image.
