However, now, she was free. He had saved her, and she knew that what had been right. At least now she could live in peace, for only those who can adapt, can reach what they aim for.”

SILVER GOT LUCKY.
Like seriously dude, Eugon is one resistant bastard. One of his own Grubb tribesmen had to send an arrow right through his heart to finish him off. Without the Grubbs eventually coming on Silver's side, Eugon would have definitely won.
Me and Niina talked about it last night and even after that battle, Silver would have died too (but if it wasn't for the fact he was essentially a wandering saint and was resurrected because of a debt, he would have remained dead too).
So Ellis would have been completely alone. :c
