I know you're excited and all and want to show off your kid, but why would you want to plaster a picture of your kid on a website known for its explicit pornography? Seems like a bad thing to associate your kid's face with. When he or she grows up, will you think they'd have approved of having their face put up on a website like this?

That isn't exactly true - there are many websites that have existed for many many years.
Newgrounds for example goes all the way back to 1995 - nearly 18 years ago.
Even less known websites still exist today; the Phone Losers Of America were also around in the 90s back when people used BBSes; and their website http://www.phonelosers.org still exists and is updated to this date.

In Furry Fandom the former popular places still exists; VCL (at http://us.vclart.net/vcl ) - which many would agree would be one of the predecessors to FA - still exists and people making new submissions to this date.

Why not just appreciate the photo for what it is? A beautiful relationship between a mother and her child. Why taint it with such thoughts?

Just leave it as is.
