oooh I love how chibi Dark came out <3 I especially love how his eyes came out. I at first couldn't figure out what kind of background to use but then decided on a sort of candyland type background. at first I was going to add a hot chocolate volcano in the background but the background was totally kicking my ass so I went with a simple background with two gumdrop mountains, cotton candy clouds, a candy cane road and a frosting covered ground.
I might try and make more sweet backgrounds and try for that hot chocolate volcano because I'll admit that Wreck-it Ralph was a bit of an inspiration that and Dark's love for sweet things.
