Out in the country inbetween Richmond and Irvine, KY is this little bridge. The road that travels over it was once the R.N.I.&B Railroad which was pulled up in 1934. At some point several miles of roadbed was used to create a couple of roads and this bridge got repurposed.
I don't think it's original to the R.N.I.&B but maybe an add on put there by the L&N after they overtook the line in 1907.

From my understanding the R.N.I&B had a habit of having alot of lightly built bridges which was a factor in the railroads demise against it's fight with the L&N (the R.I.N&B was built to directly compete with L&N) with the L&N winning out after the R.I.N&B went into recievership in 1907. This was mainly due to the railroads inprofitability from having steeper grades and lighter construction like this.
I have to agree, that does look very light for a railroad bridge. Too bad it's so far away, I'd like to take a closer look at it. There's one in Carpentersville, IL that I shot half a roll on, it was so fascinating. That one was almost certainly moved there from a different area too.
