... Another commission done! I actually finished this card (for Chibizoo!) last night, but passed out before getting around to a post for it here. I have to admit that this one was also kind of a personal indulgence because I'm a huge fan of the anime and YEEEAH WHO WOULDN'T LOVE AN ELDRITCH KYUBEY RIGHT???

Puella Magi Madoka Magica!
It's actually a really incredible, tight, splendidly heart-wrenching dark drama wrapped in the guise of a Magical Girl title and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone wanting a good watch. I'm pretty picky and discerning about my anime titles, but Madoka's up there with my all time favorites.
It's also a succinct 12 episodes long, so if you have a free day, you can power through it pretty easily in one go (... which will probably happen).
If you're unsure of how you feel about it, just wait 'til you watch episode 3. That's the one I tell people to hold out for because it will define the tone of the rest of the series. :>
