I was bored waiting for my class while at college so I decided to draw a bit. However, I realized I left the reference sheet I was working on at home. Since I had to do something different anyway, I figured that I'd give the cute chibi-style a try. Drawing Wulpo this way was quite relaxing because it involves less complicated anatomy than the reference sheet (which is in my usual style). I still plan to draw the way I had been before (with the more detailed anatomy), so no, I'm not totally changing my style if anyone was worried about that. It was a fun experiment though, and I might do it occasionally in the future since most of the frustrating parts of the anatomy for me (like hands and feet) which I normally have to pose for become much more straightforward to draw.
*Important: I do not have the intent of belittling the work of people who exclusively draw with the chibi-style. Just because the anatomy is simplifed does not mean that it is inferior to any other style with more complex anatomical features. The style which something was drawn in doesn't matter; what is important is that that artist making the artwork enjoys the process and is happy with the result. I just felt like I should say this since I suppose my description could be taken in the wrong way.*

This is so cool to hear! I always thought it would be neat if I found my art featured somewhere else, like on one of those furry slideshow videos on YouTube. Hopefully it would've appeared with credit given to me, but I wouldn't really get too mad if it wasn't (unless whoever made the video had claimed they made it themselves). The fact someone likes my art enough to take it and use it for something makes me feel special, especially since I don't consider myself to be much of an artist. Thanks for the compliment!
I know I'm technically an artist, but I don't feel like I'm a "good" artist (at least not yet). There's many people that draw better than I do, and with much less effort too. I understand it's because I'm just casual about it and only seek to have fun from doing it. I acknowledge that I have improved greatly since I began trying to draw, but I still would never expect someone to showcase my art in such a way. I'm hard on myself; I know. But in a way, it keeps me modest and pushes me to always improve more, so it's not all bad.
I'm content with what I can currently do, as I have accomplished more than I thought I'd ever be able to do when I started out. However, it's not in my nature to not desire to improve; I want to see how far I can go with my art. Whenever someone gives me recognition for my art, especially if the person was someone I hadn't seen before, it is always a pleasant surprise to me because I never really expect it.
