So, this is not my kitty, though I do somewhat regret not adopting him, as he is sooooo adorable (my husband would have killed me, and we would not have ended up adopting Kesef later, so I guess things worked out as they should have).
I had to post this pick of him though, as he is soooo cute. If you don't know what a Munchkin Cat is, it is a breed of cat that has short legs like a daschund. This does not impede them being able to jump or live normal lives, although they do not run very fast. Some argue that it is cruel to breed these because of their short legs. All I have to say is this....

Yes, I wish I had adopted this one, since, as a purebred, it would cost more than I care to spend. But as an adoptee, it would only have been $100.
Oh, well, I wouldn't have been able to adopted my Kesef, as purebred Egyptian Mau, and I don't think I would have been able to convince my husband to have five cats in a two bedroom apartment.
I know he went to a good home though.

Well I have four currently. When this guy was up for adoption, I only had three. So I probably could have managed to get him to say ok. Although the idea of a munchkin kitty really didn't do it for him, so maybe not. It was almost three months later that I adopted my Egyptian Mau, and I KNOW if I had managed to get him to let me adopt this kitty, I would not have gotten away with adopting the one I have now.
I don't know why I felt like clarifying that, but I did.
