Not happy with my scanning set up at the moment...need to tinker. Will re-upload at some point.

Anyway, first piece for 2013 and hopefully many more to come. This is kind of a gift to my fiance (we are getting married in 5 weeks) who I sometimes call "Chipa Bear".
I recently met Dark Natasha, who really filled me with a desire to paint more often and improve my technique, something which I'm not sure I can achieve with just the watercolours and pencils. Perhaps I just need to go bigger to get the detail with the pencils, or maybe I need to try a different tool, a calligraphy pen perhaps?
