So for quite some time I've wanted both a pic of me crying and a pic of me wet, but I've never felt like pulling the trigger until now.
And, for quite some time, I've greatly enjoyed the work of "
Rogeykun , who has a great way of capturing playful and yet controlling cub/diaper work in all of his pieces, so I figured he'd be the perfect person to try out the idea. And I love it! Rogeykun has fantastic prices and does great work (and tbh I think he's too hard on himself), and I'm so happy with this pic!
I feel the need to describe some of the psychological pleasures about diapers, which I know babyfurs already know but other furries I'm sure have a hard time understanding, so I'm gonna go into it a little bit here.
I totally understand why a non-baby furry, or anyone for that matter, would be disturbed by the idea of furries/people liking to wear diapers. Obviously diapers are an unpleasant part of life. A lot of people love babies and find them to be cute, but the idea of changing diapers and cleaning up excrement is unpleasant for anyone. Changing diapers is just something people have to deal with, like an unpleasant side effect of babies. In addition, babies' crying and yelling, particularly in the middle of the night, is something that is greatly irritating and stressful. I can relate to all of these feelings, and that's how I feel about babies IRL.
This is why every commission I've gotten so far has been of me being cutely happy, or at least somewhat embarrassed. I like to focus on the cute and cuddly side of being a babyfur, the part that most people enjoy about babies.
So why get a pic of a crying cub with a wet diaper?
I think what most non-babyfurs don't quite understand about the cub/babyfur side of something is the desire to be loved/cared for. Yes, it's a very uncomfortable feeling to be helpless and have someone care for you. But it's also a sense of being so vulnerable that you know that whoever is willing to take care of you truly loves you.
It's like when you think about your parents taking care of you as a baby. Yes, it's highly uncomfortable and embarrassing to think about how your parents used to have to change your diapers and that you needed them to. But when you think about it, what greater showcase of love is there? If someone is willing to deal wtih a baby's crying and is willing to clean up their pee/poo all of the time, it shows that they truly love them.
So that's the appeal...the feeling of being so helpless that you can rely on someone truly loving you to make you feel better. I love seeing the vulnerability of my character crying and needing someone to make him feel better. I love the helplessness of knowing that no only can he not control his own wetting, but that he can't even do anything about it to make himself feel ok. He's so reliant upon the love of a mommy/daddy to clean up his own nastiness to make him feel better. And that mommy/daddy loves him so much that they want nothing more than to make him feel better.
It's really a feeling of vulnerability and intimacy that's very deep when you think about it.
Anyway, I know that was a long philosophical spiel for a very simple drawing, but it goes to show why I love this one so much.
I also really love how Rogeykun made the wetting so subtle that it won't stand out and gross out someone who's not into the whole babyfur/diaper thing. You can see the wetting diaper, but I think you have to look pretty close...it's not glaring. So to me, that adds to the vulnerability of it.
But I love the thickness of the diaper as well as the tears and paw rubbing. It's awesome!
So yay for
and this awesome pic!
