Watch out, Planet Earth. A gargantuan Gantu has arrived, and he's developed a fondness for squashing little doggies...
(Alternative version with blood - click here)
You knew it was coming.
I'm sure plenty of people have seen my practice sketches of Gantu over the last year or so within my 'Character Training Compilations' (Volume 1 last year and, more recently, Volume 2), so I've probably teased folks for long enough wondering what I was planning to do with him.
Considering how many furries seem to express their love for Gantu whenever he appears around here, it's astonishing just how scarce Gantu fetish art is. It's even more surprising to consider that, for such a huge muscular character with massive pillars for legs and enormous elephant-like feet, there seems to be virtually nothing out there of him stomping on anything. I mean, come on, people!!
Hence, my first (yes, first, as in number one with further numbers to follow ) picture of Gantu seeks to fill that gap. I've never actually seen anything of Lilo & Stitch (films or TV), so I don't really know much about him as a character. As such, there's no real story behind this picture and nothing particularly imaginative about the idea - I just wanted to see such a sexy character doing some gratuitous macro rampaging.
Kicking off my newfound philosophy of using a more simple style and not obsessing about my artistic accuracy (as mentioned in my journal over Christmas), I didn't worry too much about drawing this to a particularly accurate standard or bothering with much of a background. I wanted to keep it relatively quick and simple. I know the face and chin is a bit off, I know the perspective is a little wonky, and I know the whole thing is very empty for a city rampage scene...
...but, seeing as I'm not gonna give myself a hard time over that kind of crap from now on, I don't much care.
As you will hopefully have already noticed, there are two versions of this picture - one 'clean/tame' version and one with a bit of blood going on. Just click the link at the top of this description to switch to the other version.
Enjoy - oh, and more of Gantu on the way shortly, folks...

I presume you meant 'vore' scenarios? And if so, fear not, I'm already way ahead of you - I'll be drawing Gantu vore at some point in the future. I did actually make a crappy Gantu vore animation loop sometime last year but never bothered to do anything more with it.
Soooooooo, the next pic will be about something on the vol 1/2?
But yeah, lots of people like this guy! He ins't my fav char and I don't like very much his foot, but he is very muscular and even if you not make him giantic his foot can make a lot of damage
....hm... I think we don't really need to get info do draw about a char we like, but I particulary like to know about the subject. But I don't like lilo&stitch
About the real/cartoon, this pic don't looks "the normal you" to me. Not much diferent than the conventional or is just my tired eyes...

Not sure what you mean by "the next pic will be about something on the vol 1/2?". When I mentioned Volume 1 & 2 of my Character Training Compilations in my description, there isn't anything in those compilations that will be used in future pictures. I just did those sketches as training to teach myself how to draw the character for pictures like this one.
And as for style, it's not the realistic style, but then I wouldn't use that on a Disney character anyway.

gantu is the kind of character that gets told what he has to do by an alien rabbit-like prisoner. he always submits to him and tries to catch those experiments running around on hawaii but sadly each time lilo&stitch prevail and catch them earlier. when he fails he gets mad and sad at the same time, thats what makes him so cute - i always had the feeling i wanna cuddle him when seeing him in that state.
oh and i remember an episode where he walks around in the city to find a critter and while doing so he stomps on every car and leaves big footprints in every garden definitely worth watching

*chirps and blushes a bit* ^^; Heehee, sorries... It was really late when I typed this... xP
I was meaning in the sense of scale of the characters and background kind of thing. :P
Lots of Macro artists draw the pose well, but don't really make the surroundings match the size of the character. ^^
*chirpytailwags and pounces* My favorite thing about you and how you draw is that you can bring a deeper sense of realism to your arts, by having everything drawn near PERFECTLY to scale! \=n_n=/
And THIS one is my absolute fave! XD --> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1563795/
The air plane tucked in your ballpad sold me WAAAAAYYY more than anything else, cause I was comparing how small it was to your paw, and squeed hardcore that everything else scaled nicely with your size! =^___^=
*gigglechirps, batting a paw atcha and huggles tight* So, um... Long story short, I loves your realistic size scaleness! xP *rolls around* ^^
