The second image I won from
Blu_Anubiz's raffle.
Here we have one of my favorite, underappreciated couples. Braeburn and Little Strongheart. They had some nice chemistry together in the episode which featured them, but everyone and their bloody HOUSEPLANTS wanted to be a tittering hipster and prop up the "Gayburn" meme. It was essentially the same force which made most other characters "gay" in the early-mid '90s in the Furry fandom. If you evere wondered why the Road Rovers were drawn in so much yaoi, it was that internet shut-ins think girls are icky and bisexuals were tryign to show off how bi they were by skewing the artistic demographics.
In any event... "kissyface" was used when Blu uploaded it, and I liked that. I also suggested the extra feathers. This is a reference to "An Appleoosan Kind of Love: What Was" where that is used by the buffalo to indicate marriage. (I kind of invented a reason for her headdress; one feather for initiation, one for coming of age, then one for marriage. Brae did neither, at the time when he got married, but he still got his marriage feather. Now that's one good feather in his cap to say the least.)
