When I was little, my dad used to read to me every night. When I was six, he picked up a new book called "The Last Unicorn" by Peter Beagle. After we finished it the first time, I asked if he could read it again.
My mother went to the video store (video update for those ppl who are close to my age and remember TAPES) and saw that there was an animated film and brought it home for me to watch.
Needless to say she and my dad just found it for me on tape since every time we went back to the rental place, I asked if we could rent it again.
This is me going crazy with detail and going into a grand moment of nostalgia! I'm probably going to resize it after I've posted it because its a big picture and it shrinks down--never mind! I want it clear lol.

thanks so much! Its been years since I did fan art for it, but I finally have reached a point in my skill level to start to emulate the true style from the movie. I appreciate all the love, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one out there whose childhood was filled with this story!
I still have my tape XD although since my best friend bought me the DVD for its 25th anniversary.
