I apologize if you have posted any tutorials or have already answered these types of questions, but I was wondering what brush settings you use for fur detailing, and also if you use colour straight away or colour a grayscale painting.
The paintings you do are marvelous, and I am having a hard time keeping fur from looking too stringy with my tiny hard brushes.

The more advanced your base color layer, the better your fur texture overcoat will look.
