I took a new picture on 1/16/2013 in natural light so its a better image. Unfortunately, my doggies decided they wanted to help so there's a couple of dog hairs on her in this image XD.

I developed this dragoness for an RP that never got off to a real start but still really liked her.
She's a "Cimmerian" Dragon, but she holds the power to change into shadows and manipulate them or travel through them like portals.
Her name is Sixepia (Sicks--ee--peeyah).
She doesn't like to be called a shadow dragon, because she's a little prideful about being a Cimmerian dragon XD. She's a little bit of a trouble maker when it comes down to it, and doesn't like large crowds since everyone assumes she's a bad dragon because her prime color is blue-black.
Direct sunlight hurts Cimmerian dragons like sun sickness but very quickly so they are nocturnal creatures.

That dragon species book does sound interesting! you make some of the most interesting dragon's I've read about, and I know that feeling all too well. I've thought of some really awesome character's myself, but haven't really decided if/how to implement them into any of my stories.
I was thinking she could breathe portals, so at point A she breathes a particular shadow spell circle on a particular wall leads to point F several places away? Or she breathes it on the ground and point Z appears? Have you ever seen the adjustment bureau? They have a very very unique travel method involving hats and using doors XD I was thinking something like that.
