This is awesome! I love the darkness and coloring.

Though you have nice rich colors, I think it may be because the values are all quite similar. Try making the picture black and white and you'll see what I mean. So like values means nothing pops out too much. Love the direction you're going by the way!

I actually tried the black and white trick, and it looked a lot better like that too - but I didn't want to strip the drawing from all it's colours, but just bit grayed out made it look strange again so I simply went with the original ;n;
Might just be that there's too many different colours going on at the same time and they don't quite match

I don't really explain things well. XD I mean make your colors pop more. Give them more contrast between, even just a smidge makes it a bit more eye catching. The making it grey part is just a guide to see how much your values differ.

hmm, I didn't want to add too much contrast (especially light) since the light source wasn't too heavy (one of those orangey streetlamps we got here a lot)

I have to agree with Rika. Everything looks fine, it's just there needs to be a bit more contrast between the light and dark.

This looks absolutely fabuloud! The only thing I can think of with the colors is MAYBE the orange is slightly too pink and could use more yellow? Not really sure to be honest...Sometimes I see things a bit different on my laptop screen than on other monitors..*Goes on rant about all the times pictures have looked PERFECT on my laptop but WAY oversaturated and such on my phone* XD

I know this screen issue way too well, I got 3 screen, only cintiq showing the real colours and others refusing to be calibrated properly no matter what! I can slam that device a million times especially on my main screen but the quality is just way too shit with the screen, still regretting buying it because I couldve gotten a better one... it only depended on if I could stand some ranting about others having to wait for an hour.... u.u

On my main screen everythings way too bright, saturated and colours go BOOOOM, especially green, on my laptop everything is even more light, but I gotta see what happens when I can be arsed to calibrate this one.

My guess on your pc is either the actual cable is messed up either needs to be replaced or just cleaned, or it could be a software malfuntion where the computer just drops the connection says its not there and then refuses to reconnect. Try the cables first, then either make a back up and try reseting your computer that might fix what ever bug its experiencing. Love the art as well, hope I helped you.

You didn't do anything wrong,you just conveyed a different ton to the picture. Perhaps if she was looking at a happy couple on the park bench,was crying and looking at a cellphone or something of that nature added, it would convey a bad relationship better. Regardless this piece is beautiful. :3
