Yeesh, what is going on with me? I'm posting a lot of traditional work lately... And a majority of it is being pokemon anthros...
-shrugs- Oh well, no problem here!
Anyway, I actually have a little story in the works here featuring Gen "Genbu" the Toreterra, Nemean the Luxray, and Roxy the Fennekin. If you guys read Gen's profile comment description, you'd learn that the leader of his previous team called him back Jhoto for a favor. Its here that he finds his fellow teammate Nemean here as well, also fully evolved.
Turns out both of them were called by the leader of Team Excel - Barnaby the Umbreon. After Team Excel had disbanded, Barnaby continued on his adventures to train himself and eventually found love. Years later, after his family was established and during a training session, Barnaby came across a rather intriguing young lass who was watching him train.
Barnaby had never seen a Pokemorph like her before, but he was more concerned with the wounds that racked her body. Taking the fox-like pokemorph to the local hospital, he learns that the girl was a foreigner from another country, one that Barnaby had never heard of before. With foreign issues and borders being secured, transportation between regions is very tight, and only officially established teams are allowed to pass.
After the Fennekin girl recovered, Barnaby learns her name - Roxanne (Roxy), and learns that she was searching for powerful teammates to help her in a quest to dominate the league of a different nation. She heard that in Jhoto there was a powerful team - Team Gold that was legendary a couple decades ago. Roxy came to Jhoto to find the next generation of the team...
Why she was attacked and left to die in the woods she kept to herself...
Concerned, Barnaby wanted to help the young kit... But he couldn't go on a journey with his own family to raise. So, Barnaby decided to call out for his former teammates... Sure, they were the worst team about a decade ago, lost in the first round of the league...

But the good intentions still stand! So, with the cold and calculating Nemean and the laid back and strong Gen answering the call (the other three just ignored Barnaby's message lol), they join up with the young, hot headed Roxy to form the next generation of Team Excel - Team XCD (pronounced: eXCeeD)!
