i think your improving alot on the body bro, your getting into the more feral look, with an actual neck joint, slight roundness of shoulders, the round animal thighs, i think your headed in the direction of the most cute pichu evar ^_^

just develop it a little more and i think u will be hitting the mark perfect =3
alot of those ppl on DA are simply comparing it to the official style, which is mostly made up of simple circles and flat faces, not especially cute IMO...
