What kind of sting operation involves selling motorcycles? Is it illegal to buy or sell a motorcycle now?

No one was selling a motorcycle at all it was one of those to catch a predator stings that dateline dose.

Oh... guys prey on kids by offering to sell them a motorcycle? What if some burly 280 pound guy in black leathers, tatooes, and a German helmet turns up instead? Tell him you're sorry but you sold the bike already, and beat a hasty retreat?

Actually, this reminds me of a story that may finally make sense. A guy I knew once bought a younger "protege" a motorcycle. I don't know what he was hoping for in return, but the kid got on the motorcycle, drove off, and was never seen again.

There never was a motorcycle to begin with, what happen was little girl lied to her brother so he would go to decoy house where NBC's Stone Phillips and the local police was wating to confront and arrest pediphile.
