So now that the first Mushroom Kingdom arc of FG is over, it's time for some art to fill the gap! Firstly we have the most adorable new boyfriend of James Campbell, a young koopa called Koopin S Kennidon.

This was a gift from  philip91 who got really into my characters and seems to love them a lot. So why not spread the art love a bit and show off some basic sketch references of Koopin?

His shell is a paler green than most Koopas due to his desert origins, as well as having two markings on the back of his shell in the shape of an arrow, like so /\

This is not a unique thing to Koopin, since for the sake of narrative I wrote all koopas in the Mushroom Kingdom as having unique shell-markings, more for the sake of the audience and FG in being able to identify between them.
It wasn't a problem for Mario or anyone playing a game, but in writing I felt it was necessary.

The boxer shorts are just adorable, a small sign of Koopin's little hobby and obsession. Can you guess who he's a big fan of? ;3
