I think what you did particularly well here are the nipples, the hair (particularly the braids) and the lower lip. You don't see many artists around whom actually know how to draw braids, they're tricky. Did you intend for it to be lineless, or was that just fortunate because her hair is black? x3 Everything is conveyed through careful shading. It looks so good!

Though, I just realized I completely failed to notice her hands aren't as large/long as they should be in the sketch you sent me before. Woooops. I was so floored by the quality I didn't notice! Oh well, I doubt anyone will care considering what's hogging up all the canvas. >>

Anyway, I hope that was helpful. ^^;

I ended up just photoshopping her hand a bit bigger before posting it up in my profile because I'm a spaz. =x

Fine by me. I looked at yours, and the hand looks a lot closer to normal proportions. Things always tend to change shape and size from my sketch to the finished work, and it's hard to tell what's what in my chicken-scratch sketches anyway xD

As for the lineless hair, I've started making it a solid form first and suggesting the rest with shading. If her hair hadn't been black, I would've just used a shade lighter, but in the same way. The braids started out as big solid black forms and I painted over them and chiseled the form out, cause I'm lazy and that's how I do it :P

Thanks. They're still not large enough, but I'm not all that great at shopping images so I had to stop there. The picture Tora did is how large I ideally like them to be - big enough to hold onto someone's head one-handed. =p

Well, call the hair method lazy all you like, but it looks very pretty.

If I had not spent over 3 hours looking at it, I could never have told the difference. I had to flip between the two images to tell that you had edited it. I wish I knew how to do that D:

It was actually pretty easy since it was just a black and white picture, I'm a novice at it at best. Could've probably done the same thing with PaintTool SAI.

The only thing I don't like about Photoshop is the keyboard shortcuts it uses are completely different from just about any other photo editing tool there is so you have to mess with them a lot.
