Introducing Princess Dusk my Alicorn character. Actually Dusk is actually Rosie Coon's princess form. The reason she looks like an alicorn is cos of the jewelery she is wearing. The story i came up with was Nat/Rosie Coon comes across an old shrine, believed to be the shrine of an ancient princess that ruled alongside Luna and Celestia. Her Name was Dusk, KLuna's apprentice. However Dusk passed away shortly after becoming Luna's apprentice, due to a very rare disease thought to have died out centuries ago. However to pay respect to her lost student Luna erected a shrine and stored Dusk's jewelery inside.
Centuries passed and the shrine went on almost forgotten, only Luna remembering the whereabouts of the shrine, even while she was locked away in the moon by Celestia. However one day Rosie Coon went out exploring and found a cave which she curiously decided to explore. However there was a freak rock slide and it trapped her in what seemed to be a plain old cave. After attempting to move boulders with no success she activated a light spell which illuminated her horn. The light filled the cave and to Rosie's surprise the cave wasnt as closed off as she thought.
She walked in deep through the cave, eventually tripping over a rock. She stumbled and fell off the path way she had been walking, landing with a thud a few feet below. She got up and looked around for a way up. But as she looked around she noticed a strange rock formation. She didnt know what but a strange feeling washed over her, almost beckoning her over to it. Rosie inspected the rock formation, spotting something shiney, glimmering through a crack in the rock formation. Out of pure curiousity Nat managed to push all the rocks aside, revealing the purple jewelery laying, unscratched inside. Again Rosie got a strange feeling washing over her. She stared at the jewelery for a moment, trying to think of a reason why would anyone leave such beautiful things here of all places. She looked around again, making sure no one was secretly watching her. She didnt want to be accused to stealing something that somepony might of already found. When she felt calm enough she slid her hooves into the 4 pruple shoes. Funny enough they fit her perfectly. she then placed what looked like a necklace around her neck. the necklace had a white engraving of a cloudy sunset. Finally she picked up the purple tiara. she stared at it for a moment before placing it carefully on her head. The jewelery made her look like a princess except for the fact her didnt have wings nor was she royalty in any way.
She was about to take off all the jewelery when that feeling struck again, except this time much harder. Her entire body felt like it was on fire. Her red hair suddenly began to change, growing out in length and turning an orange colour, her signature black tips still remaining. Same happening to the colour of her tail. The next thing was she felt herself starting to grow. Very soon she was no longer the size of a standard mare. She was about the size of princess Luna, if not shorter by a couple of inches by the looks of things. A firery pain radiated around her back and before long a pair of grey and white wings sprouted from her back. at the same time her horn had also gotten a size upgrade, seeming larger than it was previously. Unbeknownst to her light orange eyeshadow appeared. Finally her flank burned causing her to cringe. When she looked she saw her blue rose cutie mark warping into a completely different mark, a cloudy orange sunset.
Once the transformation was complete Rosie took another look at herself again and gasped in shock at her new form, her wings giving her the biggest surprise. However the transformation wasnt the last surpise that the cave had to offer. A faint image of the previous princess appeared before Rosie and explained that only one of a pure heart would ever be able to don her jewelery. Once a pure hearted pony had placed all three item on themselves the magic inside them would transform the wearer into Alicorn version of themself, obviously inhereiting certain appearances from her. She also explained that Rosie would now be able to use much more powerful magic, however it was currently too unstable to be used affectively hence why she had become Luna's apprentice in the first place. Dusk advised Rosie to seek out Princess Luna and ask her to train her. Rosie thought long and hard about what she had been told and gracefully accepted. The spirit then explained there was a secret exit not far away and that it would lead directly into Canterlot Castle. Rosie nodded and thanked Dusk, but the spirit just smiled saying a few final words before disappearing, "No Rosie now you are Princess Dusk. Farewell and Good luck."
Rosie or Dusk as she was trying to get used to calling herself followed the spirit's advice and sure enough she found herself in Canterlot Castle. What happens next? i'll let you decide that for yourself untill i get around to writing up more story so stay tuned. hope you enjoyed my basic writing.
