It's not completely finished... but it's her birthday today so I had to post something...

{Edit} Browsing the photos to find her gravestone (yes I took it to remember exact dates...) I found her birthday is in 5 days. (whoops...) but that's ok, because she still appreciates it

Here's something most of you don't know. When I was 2 years old I had a sister who was born on this day in 1996. In September the same year she died of drowning in the bathtub. I don't remember much of her but to this day I still have this huge ache in my heart because I couldn't do anything... I was too young. As a big sister, I still feel I had a duty to keep her safe, but I couldn't pull through with that...

I celebrated with cooking some curry today. Something different than letting a balloon out for her. But I kept her in my thoughts all day, and I've tried sometimes to not choke up and cry. Because this is supposed to be her birthday afterall...
